Apparent Monitoring Violations

Apparent Bacti Violations Link
Ohio’s public water systems are required to monitor for a variety of
contaminants on a regular basis. When public water systems fail to monitor their
required chemicals, the Chemical Monitoring and Compliance Unit (CMCU) issues
the systems monitoring violations. To view the required chemical monitoring for

To view the list of systems that are on the current apparent violation lists
for missed monitoring, please click on the links below. These lists contain
the systems that do not have results submitted to Ohio EPA for the specified
monitoring time period. Laboratories that have any of the missing results
should submit the results to this office via DRINKware (preferred method) as
soon as possible in order to remove a system from the apparent violation lists
and prevent the system from receiving a violation letter. If you have any
questions about this information, please contact the CMCU member listed below
each chemical group via email or by calling (614) 644-2752. The October
2008 nitrate violation letters will be mailed to systems that remain on the
lists beginning November 20, 2008. The remaining violation letters will be
mailed beginning the week of December 1, 2008.
